Fun Fun News

Okay... First of all, I got engaged! I know most all of you know.. but I'll just recap the story a little bit. I was in New York for my art trip from Tuesday to Sunday. Ben came and surprised me there! My friend Anna and I were on the top of the Rockefeller Center Friday night, just looking out over the city. It was a way cool view. Then I hear my name, look over, see Ben, and pretty much freaked out - in the quiet, inner way that you can imagine me freaking out. I was speechless but also couldn't stop blabbling on, "what?" "how did you get here?" "who are you with?" "what? no. uh.. no. is this real?". It was kind of ridiculous.. I may have slightly ruined the moment but it was still spectacular. It just shows how truly surprised I was! I had no idea. And I really never expected Ben to do something that crazy. All these people we didn't know were taking our picture and telling us 'congratulations'. It was really exciting. We went out to dinner after at Ruby Tuesday. I couldn't even pay any attention to what I was eating.. haha. It was so fun to have Ben there in New York with me. He went around with our group the next day - we went on a train ride to a museum then walked around times square a bit. Also, a cool little fact - Ben fancied the idea of flying to New York to surprise me but the tickets were too expensive so he decided not to, then his friends surprised him with tickets. How sweet, huh? He has such good friends! That's pretty much the story, I think. Here are some pictures. I love my ring! :) It's so fun to wear. I couldn't stop staring at it all the next day. 

I didn't know he was standing there.. and we were only this far apart from each other. 

In other news, I got into the Art Education program! Next semester, I will start taking classes for it. I should be graduating in about two years.... way too long, but at the same time I really like school and don't want to be done so it works out. I'm pretty excited about it. :)
